Terms

Tahona terms of use

Last updated October 26, 2026

The agreement

Using Tahona means agreeing to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every app on the App Store. Where these terms say more, they add to it. Rainshadow Software publishes Tahona.

Your account

  • Tahona is for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. The app asks you to confirm that before it can be used.
  • One account per person.
  • You are responsible for what you post and for keeping your sign-in to yourself.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.

What you post

Your bottles, notes, ratings, lists, comments, profile text and catalog submissions are yours. You give Tahona the right to show them to other collectors as the privacy policy describes, and nothing more.

Connecting an AI assistant

You may connect an assistant to your account through Tahona's connector. What it posts for you, such as a tasting, a list, a comment, a bottle submission or a correction, is yours exactly like something you typed, and it is subject to the same community rules and moderation, including reports, removal and suspension.

You are responsible for what you let an assistant do, so read what it proposes before you approve a save, and revoke access at mcp.tahona.app/connections when you no longer want it. Tahona limits how many requests a connection can make in a day. Assistants are made by other companies and can be wrong. Tahona is informational: it tracks and discusses a collection, sells nothing and links to no retailer. See the Connect page and the privacy policy.

Community rules

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. That means no harassment, threats, hateful content, sexual content, spam or impersonation, and nothing unlawful.

Content that is reported and found to break these rules is removed, and the account that posted it is suspended or ejected.

Reporting and blocking

Every comment, tasting, list and profile has a Report action, and every profile has a Block. We review every report within 24 hours. Reports are confidential: the person who reported is never named.

Photos and labels

The catalog's bottle photos, labels and brand names belong to their owners and appear so collectors can recognise a bottle. A rights holder who wants a photo taken down can write to hello@rainshadowhq.com, and it is removed promptly.

The catalog

A bottle you submit becomes part of the shared registry. Once accepted it stays, anonymised, if you delete your account, as the privacy policy and the support page already say.

AI answers

Ask Tahona answers and flights are written by an AI model and can be wrong. They are suggestions, not advice.
